On November 10, 2023, the Vietnam Securities Depository and Clearing Corporation (VSDC) successfully organized the "2023 Fund Services Review Conference" in Hue City. This annual conference aims to evaluate and exchange insights with organizations related to fund services provided by VSDC.

The conference was attended by leaders from VSDC, the State Securities Commission, the Ministry of Finance, HNX, fund management companies (FMCs), custodian banks, securities companies as fund members, distributors of investment funds, and IT solution providers.

In his speech, Mr. Duong Van Thanh – CEO of VSDC – noted that in 2023, although the total assets under management of investment funds slightly decreased compared to the end of 2022, many challenges have gradually been resolved. The growth of custody accounts and the number of newly launched IPO funds continue to expand, and the trading frequency of funds has increased. It is expected that in 2024, VSDC will further expand services for voluntary supplementary pension funds, a market segment expected to experience significant growth in account usage.
